John was born on 17 July 1944, in Brisbane, Australia to proud parents William and Margaret Smith. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary, his children Mark and Sarah, and his four grandchildren.
John was a true family man who treasured his time spent with loved ones. He was a dedicated husband who adored his wife Mary, and they shared many happy moments together over the years. He was a devoted father to his children Mark and Sarah, always providing love, guidance, and support throughout their lives. John was also a proud and doting grandfather to his four grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and happiness.
John was a man of great accomplishments and passions. He was a successful business owner, running his own company for over 30 years, and was highly respected in his industry. He was an avid sportsman who loved playing and watching cricket and rugby league football. He was also a passionate traveller, having visited numerous countries around the world with his family.
