There’s a love in this world so tender and rare
It’s a love that a husband and wife can share
We shared that love, you and I
From the day we met ’til the day you died.
There are millions of husbands, I know
As you were mine and I loved you so.
Like the sweetest rose, your petal fell so soon
But the love you planted in our hearts
Will never cease to bloom.
Flowers wither, the sun will set
But those who really love you
Will never forget
God has you in his keeping
We have you embedded in our hearts.
