The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
16.12.1988 - 2.3.1995
We didn't see you close your eyes,
we didn't say good-bye.
We were only told that you were gone,
without a last good-bye.
If tears could make a pathway,
and memories could make a lane,
we'd walk right up to heaven,
and bring you home again.
Your beloved Babaco, Mum, Litsa,
Toria, Nicholas jnr and Spiro
