She was a forgotten soul,
A life overlooked,
A nobody in the eyes of many,
yet an Australian all the same.
No Christmases, no Easters, no birthdays,
Happiness, love, or good health.
Only chronic illness and constant pain.
She was once a pretty 16-year-old girl,
Having passed through 21 different schools between 1973 and 1978.
One day, my dear, I hope our paths cross again. Until then, rest in peace,
wherever you may be.
Never forgotten, Deeply, deeply missed.
