BLOKLAND (NEE REEVES), Joan Margaretta

The family of Joan Margaretta Blokland (nee Reeves) remember her with love and affection for her life well lived on the anniversary of her death at 93 years of age. Joan's ashes will be scattered along with those of her beloved husband, Franciscus Pieter Matthias Blokland (Frank) in the Adelaide Hills. Loved mother of Peter and Jenny and partners Karen and Jamie. Cherished Oma of Bradley, Cameron, Jessica, Katelyn, Thomas, Samuel; Anthony and Helena; great-grandmother of Kaiis, Jaxon and Archie. Lover of all creatures great and small, a lifelong feminist, a generous spirit and always willing to share her enormous knowledge of literature, music and nature. Joan was the embodiment of kindness and compassion.
