The Hermitage (Geelong Church of England Girls’ Grammar School) and Geelong Grammar School (GGS) community remembers Elizabeth fondly and gratefully as a bright student (The Hermitage 1946-49) and a collaborative and sagacious staff member (The Hermitage 1967-75, GGS 1976). We celebrate Elizabeth’s significant contribution to our community, particularly as Headmistress of The Hermitage (1968-75), who helped navigate momentous change, including steering the amalgamation of the two schools. We recognise and respect the vital role of Elizabeth’s leadership and dedication in the ongoing success of this historic initiative. On behalf of The Hermitage and GGS community, we send our condolences to Elizabeth’s family.
