The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Simon Crean was a modernising leader of the FSPU that formed part of the DNA of the NUW, which has now become UWU. Alongside the wool store workers of Nth Melbourne and Kensington, as a leader of the ACTU, and then as a parliamentary representative of Labor, Simon Crean was fierce in advancing the cause of working people.
Our condolences go to his wife Carole and the Crean family. Simon’s legacy will live on in our Union. Rest in Power. Vale Simon Crean.”
