The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Jack Fleming
25/11/96 – 15/04/18
On Sunday 15 April 2018, Jack stopped breathing. Twenty-two months of fighting and hoping we would beat the disease that destroyed his brain in vain, and that cheeky smile disappeared forever. A light went out never to be rekindled and our hearts are broken. We won’t meet again, but we have those beautiful memories of a baby, a boy and a young man. He will be remembered for many things by his friends but for his family he will be remembered as just Jack, our son, our brother, our friend, our mentor.
Mum, Dad, Stefan, Adrian, Matthew, Chris and Hugh.
