Simon Townsend: Pioneer of Australian Children's Television
A tribute to Simon Townsend, creator of Wonder World, celebrating his contributions to Australian children’s television and his lasting legacy.
Mum loved her extended family and the Oakey community. She had a great circle of friends. She enjoyed her life, and was always grateful and humble. She enjoyed the simple pleasures and particularly loved watching tennis and cricket. Mum would have been so invested in me (Wes) coming out of retirement to play cricket at the age of 60! She would have loved that, and would have had many discussions about the games. I wish I could have had those discussions with her.
Mum was always interested in what we were doing, as well as how her grandchildren were progressing in life. She was very proud and supportive of us all.
Lovingly remembered and missed every day.
Mark, Shelley, Wes and families.
