JAKE ANTHONY GIBBONS

Jake Anthony Gibbons Kevin, Tania and Shane Gibbons would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who have helped and supported our family through our tragic time of Jake’s passing. We would like to especially thank the CQ rescue team and Emergency services who responded to Jake’s accident at The Leap. Our gratefulness also to the Emergency Department of the Mackay Base Hospital, Royal Flying Doctors and Townsville Hospital ICU. We would like to make special mention of the Organ Donor Transplant Team who were incredibly supportive and treated Jake with the upmost respect and dignity. Personally, we have been overwhelmed with messages, phone calls, flowers, food and cards also people offering their assistance. To our large extended family, numerous friends, City Funerals, BMA Daunia Mine, Workpac, Glencore Newlands, Palmview Village Community, thank you for your kindness which has supported us through this most trying time. We wish the 5 recipients of Jakes’ organs a new found healthy life. We find comfort that these people have been truly blessed that Jake has given them the most precious gift of life.
