David Lynch: A Visionary in Film and Art
Celebrating David Lynch: visionary filmmaker, artist, and storyteller whose surrealist masterpieces reshaped modern cinema and television.
SANFL and the SA Football Commission are saddened by the passing of one of the greats of South Australian football, Neil Kerley AM.
A League Life Member, SA Football Hall of Fame Member and Australian Football Hall of Famer, Neil was a larger-than-life character who was synonymous with football in our state.
Neil’s 276-game playing career, from 1957 to 1969, spanned three clubs whilst guiding West Adelaide (1961 & 1983), South Adelaide (1964) and Glenelg (1973) to premierships as Coach. In addition, he had great impact on the West Torrens (1977–1980) and Central District (1988–1990) football clubs as Senior Coach. Neil also played a remarkable 32 games for SA, captaining the State side on six occasions, and went on to coach the State team seven times between 1967 and 1978.
A true legend of the game, Neil will be fondly remembered by all those who played alongside him, were coached by him and the fans who grew up watching him.
On behalf of Chairman The Hon Rob Kerin, CEO Darren Chandler, the SA Football Commission and SANFL we extend our deepest sympathy to Barb, Gail and the Kerley family.
