KLUG, Thomas Gustav

The Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner, State Fire Commission, Hobart Fire Brigade and members of Tasmania Fire Service are saddened by the passing of a respected work colleague.

Tom’s service to the community spanned more than 25 years; commencing at Hobart Fire Brigade in 1962 and attaining the rank of Deputy Chief Officer in 1987 before retiring in 1990. Tom was an absolute gentleman and a role model to his peers and mates.

Our condolences and thoughts are with his son, HFB Station Officer David Klug, as well as Tom’s family, friends and loved ones.
