It is hard to believe that a year has passed since we said goodbye. You were the light of our lives and our loss is immeasurable.

Love, for humanity and for your family, was your defining quality. Your wisdom, courage and strength, coupled with your philosophical approach towards life will always inspire us. You taught us how a leader can be altruistic and professional at the same time, a philanthropist and a social worker in the best sense of the words.

You were a tireless carer for the young and old, an activist, a scholar and writer. Your histories of multicultural aged care and of the Greek community of Geelong will live on. With your many friends, we celebrate your welcoming hospitality, your dancing, your pleasure from gardening and sharing the produce, your smiles and hugs. You were passionate about living life to the fullest and taught us all one important lesson: rejoice in the beauty of life.

Jordan, we will treasure your unassuming character, humble and nurturing nature, as well as your depth of knowledge eternally. Our love for you will always remain unconditional.
