Jay, it is now one year since you left and all your pain and suffering ceased. Your strength, resolve and personality remained buoyant during the years of being sick, which endeared you to many and even made some of them wish that they had the same strength and qualities that you possessed.

We were so lucky to have you as our son and brother, which enabled us to enjoy your companionship for 50 years, even though a number of doctors told us this would not happen. Mate, we miss you, love you so much and wish we could be with you.
