I remember the day I met you,
And the day I called you mine,
I remember the day God took you,
And will till the end of time,
I think of you always,
I talk about you too,
I have such lovely memories,
But I wish I still had you.
Remembering you is easy,
I do it everyday,
It’s the emptiness without you,
That never goes away.
A smile for all, a heart of gold,
One of the best the world could hold,
Never selfish, always kind,
Those are the memories you left behind.
God saw that you were tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered come with me.
Loving & missing you always your loving Husband George.
