Sometimes I wonder about when god called you to go to heaven, if you answered the call with 'Young Doug Pettersen'. Time has stood still since the day you left and yet a year has passed by. A year full of ups and downs and memories I long to share with you, although I am sure you have watched it all from up there. I don't think I ever told you, but ever since I can remember and still to this day, I have always carried so much pride in having you as my grandad. Your words of wisdom still guide me through difficult times. Thank you, for everything. Thinking of you every day and missing you until we meet again. Please give a big hug to Nana from us all.
