10 years ago today, our life changed forever
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed and very dear.
We think about you always, we talk about you still,
you have never been forgotten and you never will.
We hold you close within
our hearts and there you will remain,
to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again.
Your life was a blessing,
your memory a treasure,
you are loved beyond words and
missed beyond measure.
We thought of you today
but that is nothing new,
we thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we will never part.
God has you in his keeping,
we have you in our hearts.
