Dr. Surjit Singh RANA

Beloved Husband of Manjit Kaur, Father of Har Preet Singh, Rattan Deep Kaur, Taran Jyot Singh and Grandfather of seven.
Dr Rana was a spiritual man, a respected elder of Sydney’s Sikh community. He was devoted to a life of service to his family, his community, and his patients.
Born in Bharomajara Punjab, India; studied in Edinburgh then worked at Guys Hospital, London as an ENT surgeon; married his beautiful Manjit in 1957 and lived in Nakuru and Nairobi, Kenya; then settled in Sydney, Australia in the 1970s. In his latter years Dr Rana worked as a GP in Willmott, Lethbridge Park, Dean Park and Castle Hill.
Much loved gentle son and brother, he graced this earth with love, compassion and healing all his days. Greatly missed and fondly remembered. May he be at peace in his heavenly home. May he continue to bless us for all our days.
