This week I will again be remembering the life of my Mother. The most beautiful and caring Mother that any Son could ever wish for. She gave her all to her family. Mum’s smile hid the sadness of her last few years at home. I say a little prayer each day to thank you for what you did for all of your Children. Mum may have gone, but my memory of her will last forever. I thank God for giving me the privilege to be her carer for the last 16 years of her life. My thoughts are also with Mrs Valarie "Bonny" Mahoney, our last surviving member of this Mahoney clan. I held your hand as I told you that it was too much for you now and that it was time to go be with your Mummy and Daddy in heaven. You gave me a big smile as you left me and went up to Heaven.
