The family and relatives of Desmond Victor Young (Des) would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of the Atherton and Cairns Hospitals, the paramedic crew who granted Des his final wish and took him to the beach, the Blue Care Palliative Care nurses, Guilfoyls Funerals Atherton and all of his closest and dearest friends for their wishes and support to his wife Carol and her adult children and their families.

And to know that Des will always be remembered and loved for as long as our overall family exists.

Thank you from the young family, in our hearts Dad will always remain "young".
