Quincy Jones
Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
Nicholas was born in England, possibly Guildford. Migrated with his family to Australia in the late 1960s. Initially resided in Western Australia for 12 months, then moved to the eastern suburbs of Sydney NSW. Attended Randwick Boys' High School.
Believed to have lived and worked in regional NSW, VIC, or QLD. Resident of Summer Hill NSW for several years until May 2023.
Towards the end of his life, Nicholas relocated to Frederic House, Waterloo NSW. He died at Sacred Heart Hospital, Darlinghurst NSW.
Those involved in his care had very limited information regarding the whereabouts of family or friends. We are placing this notice with the hope that those who loved Nicholas, but lost contact with him over time, will learn of his passing and take comfort that he was not alone at his time of dying.
We knew Nicholas as a private man with a heart full of kindness for those he trusted.
His ashes were placed at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, 12 Military Road, Matraville, NSW 2036 (Telephone: (02) 9661 5655).
