TISSEAR, Graham ('GT')

Dad peacefully passed away at his supported residence under a warm, intensely bright blue, sunny sky on 23.12.18.

He was father of Andrew (dec.), Sam, Cate and David, brother of Colin, and son of Jack (dec.) and Jessie (dec.).

Graham was born in 1940 to Jack and Jessie Tissear.   Jack was a master cake baker and Jessie ran the shop.  They were hard workers and loving parents.

Graham grew up in Melbourne’s inner north.  He completed his leaving certificate and went into work as a clerk for a shipping company.  Graham later went into sales starting with insurance, and later office equipment including copiers and faxes.  He was an extremely successful salesperson

Graham married Caroline when they were in their mid-20s, and they separated after 10 years.

During his work days, Graham enjoyed overseas trips with his work friends on many summers to celebrate and unwind.

He had four children – Andrew, Sam, Cate and Dave, and four grandsons, all of whom live/d in Melbourne.

Graham tragically lost Andrew in 2006.   He missed Andrew terribly.

His interests included talking about his French heritage and discussing other countries, spending time with family and friends, watching AFL, going on day trips to Melbourne and surrounds, and chatting about his work days, family and travel experiences.

Graham was a sociable man who liked to tell stories and jokes, and have a laugh.  He was sentimental and appreciated the gentler things in life.  He will be remembered for his cheeky, irreverent attitude to life.

A Memorial Service has been arranged for 4.1.19 at 2pm at Bunurong Memorial Park (Cirrus Reflection Space).

It will be a child-friendly event.

Donations to Dementia Australia in lieu of flowers are suggested.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
