It is with great sadness we advise the passing of BRIAN LARS JONES. Husband to Avriell Jones and son of the late Fred and Agnes Jones, also of Cairns. He was a loved older brother to Marcia and Alan and great Father to Ian, David and Alan. Brian is remembered as a much loved life time resident of Cairns and humble gentleman of FNQ. Brian was born in Cairns in 1932 and served the community as a dentist in Cairns for over 40 years. He was educated at The Southport School and QLD University. A quiet achiever, both professionally and on the sporting field representing the state, his greatest achievement was his sense of caring for others and providing for his wife and family. He set a wonderful example of kindness and generosity. We will all miss his lovely smile, blue eyes and cheeky sense of humour. Funeral details TBA.
