We watched you suffer,

helpless, all we could do,

was just stand by.

So tired and weary,

yet you fought so hard

until your last breath

to stay with us.

With a beautiful smile

on your face, you left us.

We take comfort in

knowing your pain is over

and are now safe in the arms
