Born on September 24, 1929. Ron passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2024, at the age of 94.
Beloved husband of Pam (deceased).
Loving father of Robert, Jenny, and Wendy (and her late husband Victor).
Loved Poppa of "the boys" Matthew (and his wife Sarah), Aaron, Edward, Ryan, and Dylan.
Great Poppa to Ava, Zach, and Mikey (children of Matthew and Sarah).
Ron was a dedicated entrepreneur and community leader. In 1959, he established Norden Body Works, a company that flourished under his leadership, employing over 40 people in the 1980s. The business continues to thrive today. Ron retired at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, persistence and integrity.
Ron demonstrated his dedication to the community through his involvement with Rotary, which he joined in 1979. As President of the Dandenong Rotary Club from 1992 to 1993, he played a pivotal role in advancing the organisation's goals and activities.
Ron was also deeply committed to his family. As a devoted father, Poppa, and Great Poppa, he consistently put his loved ones first. His guiding principle, "persistence beats brilliance," was a cornerstone in both his personal and professional life.
