BACKER, Roy Richard. Aged 80. Roy passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit, Townsville Hospital. Beloved Husband of Beryl Backer. Beloved Father and Father-in-Law of Jennifer and Brian Russell, Debra Backer and Joe Matheson, Sharon and Brad Waddell. Beloved Grandfather of Anthony and Jo; Brad and Renee; and Mackenzie. Beloved Great Grandfather of Maiala and Stone and Dre and Baylie. Beloved Son of Roy (Snr.) and Ivy Backer (both deceased).
