Condolences to the Backwell family.

Alan was a Director of the IXL Group from 1973 to 2005.

He was passionate about the IXL business and its people and together with his brothers Brian and John built the platform upon which the IXL Group stands today.

During his time, he worked to ensure IXL continued to innovate, adapt, and continues to be market leaders.

He was a proud Geelong person who saw a bright future for Geelong manufacturing.

Upon retirement he maintained a keen interest in the Group.

We dearly thank Alan for his contribution and guidance.
