Barbara Cummings

AMSANT Board, members and staff wish to extend their sincere condolences to the Cummings family on the recent passing of our dearly beloved Barbara. Her grass roots leadership, passion and commitment to get recognition for all members of the Stolen Generation, advocating for children in care and her lobbying and advocacy work on many other issues that impacted on Aboriginal communities, families and organisations will always be remembered.

She also provided the effective leadership and strength in the establishment of many Aboriginal community controlled organisations.

She will forever be in our thoughts.
