BARNETT. - Reverend Christopher Michael Ordained a priest at Carlow Cathedral, Ireland on June 5, 1955 for the Archdiocese of Melbourne, arriving in Melbourne on Dec. 18, 1955. He served as Assistant Priest at South Melbourne, Armadale, East Melbourne and Ivanhoe and as Parish Priest of Diamond Creek (1969-75), Burwood (1975-85) and East St Kilda (1985-2000). He was appointed Pastor Emeritus on May 10, 2000. He passed away at Bethlehem Hospital, Elsternwick on Jan. 1, 2004. He was aged 72 years May he rest in peace Priests Retirement Foundation "Caring for those who cared"
