BATES, Lawrence (Laurie)

It is with sadness that the Bates and Johnston families announce the loss of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Laurie Bates. Laurie died peacefully with his family on 5th July 2024 in Townsville. Born in Narrabri, and late of Pallarenda, Kandos, Warren, and his beloved Wee Waa, Laurie lived a long and happy life. As per his wishes, he will have a private cremation with a memorial service to be held at Wee Waa later in the year. Pop's joy of life, love and dedication to family and friends, and his life-long support of the Rabbitohs have given us great memories.
