BATTY, Albert. _ Born October 18, 1920. Died January 21, 2013. Aged 92 years. Albert passed away peacefully at Geelong Private Hospital with family by his side. A self-made knockabout bloke who was legendary for his generosity. He loved his wife, his family and his home town Geelong where he gave so much to countless individuals and organisations without fuss or fanfare. A truly inspirational man. Albert was married to Margaret Ann for 71 years. Son of Sydney Clyde (dec) and Elsie May (dec). Loved brother of Keith (dec), Bill (dec), Norma (dec), Anne, Frank (dec) and Ronnie (dec). Albert had 4 children, 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Son Albert II (Slim) and wife Bev and their children, Nicole and partner Adrian; Adrian, wife Andrea and children Luke and Claire; Ashley, wife Sonya and children Hannah (dec), Austin, Amelia and Annabelle; Michelle, husband Stuart and children Ella, Tom and Sam; Albert III, partner Amie and children Albert IV, Mia, Jesse, Jorja and Hollie. Daughter Dianne (dec), husband Trevor and wife Pam and children, Sharon, partner Peter and children Jamara, Jack, Harry, Tom and Flynn; Brett and partner Sam. Daughter Lyn and husband Gary and children, Cristina, husband Gavan and daughter Ella; Felipe and children Elsie and Blake. Daughter Rhonda and husband Frank and their children, Sarah, husband Edward and daughter Charlotte; Nick, wife Penny and children Spencer, Sydney and January; Kate, partner Steven and children Charlie and Jemima; Georgie, husband Julian and children Edward and Fraser; Amy and husband Joshua; Clementine and partner Matt; Matilda.
