BENNETT, Shane Alan

Known as 'Shiney' in the Qld Transport Industry.
Shane died suddenly,
Saturday, 5 February 2022, aged 56.

Partner of Helen Morris.
Stepfather to Jack, Bree, Carla, and Andrew.
Papa Joog to Sadie and Ella.

Treasured and missed by Therese, Terry, Bernadette,
Rod, Josie and our huge group of family and friends.

Shane loved the Australian bush
and country music, hard work,
immaculate lawns and making sure
everyone else was right.

Special thanks to Professor Barbara Leggit (RBWH)
and all staff at P.A. Hospital Brisbane Ward 4C,
especially Monica, Matthew, Kym and Maria
who showered Shane with care and compassion.

Shane's favourite dish was
Sweet and sour pork, big plate, no spill.

Quote from Shano:
"If you don't have bread just have toast."

Shane was privately cremated as per his wishes.

Shane may you rest in peace now
- no more long hauls on the Bruce Highway
- because "It's all a part of growing up!"
