With broken hearts, we announce that Dr. Sam Birman passed away peacefully at home.

Beloved and loving husband of Lili for 52 years, Sam was adored by his children Paul, Lisa, Tania and Nicole, his son-in-law Gavin, and his cherished grandchildren Joshua and Lachlan.

Sam was in private practice for over fifty years and his love of people and medicine is legendary. From his Collins Street practice, he served his many loyal patients, as well as Melbourne’s hotels, airlines and entertainment industry. He loved every minute of it.

You set a new benchmark for what it means to be a purely good person. Your love of life lit up every room and continues to shine on all of us. We love you and will miss you forever.
