Quincy Jones
Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
The Honourable Malcolm Fraser Blue, KC.
It is with shocked disbelief and great sadness that the family of Malcolm’s sister, Virginia, pay tribute to the warm, witty, and wonderful life of the recently retired Honourable Justice Malcolm Blue, KC.
Adored sister to Virginia, brother in law to John, and uncle to Andrew, Alistair and Henrietta.
We shall miss his infectious happy chuckle, those steady blue eyes which didn’t miss a trick, his endlessly patient and caring nature, and his gentle, humble demeanour. We doubt that he had any idea of how much black sorrow would be cast upon so many hearts with his passing, which goes to the nature of a person who was much loved and loving, whilst being unpretentious and modest.
As his youngest sister, Malcolm was always a brother who radiated a beacon of understanding and kindness. He taught me many things, many life lessons; but he particularly encouraged me on the art of wonder, the pursuit of knowledge and the rewards of quiet, steady achievement.
For this, and for so many things to so many people, he shall forever remain in our hearts and souls.
Malcolm leaves behind his loving and loved partner Angela, their daughter Charlotte who deepened his life to one of great joy, and his two step daughters whom he dearly loved, Alex and Victoria. He also leaves behind three sisters and their partners, as well as his 9 nieces and nephews, 4 great-nieces, two aunts and a very saddened extended family of many cousins, their partners and children.
Always loved, and so thankful that he was in our lives - although not for long enough.
