Passed away peacefully on 03 January 2025, aged 89 years in Azden Ward, Blakiston Lodge, The McKellar Centre, Geelong.
Loving younger sister to Leo (dec); Maureen (dec); Ron (dec) and Bernard.
Adored Aunt of Ann, Paul (dec) and Michelle; Karen and Philip (dec); Eric (dec), Glenda (dec), Ray, Rhonda; Paula (dec) and Peter .
Marita was a devoted primary school teacher who inspired many students at St. Joseph's College , Newtown, Geelong and also in Nauru.
Maritas many loves included playing softball, squash, playing cards with family, body surfing, and beach walks.
Marita lived in Point Lonsdale for her retirement years, but continued volunteer work with St Mary's Church in Geelong.
A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Azden Ward, Blakiston Lodge for all their care, love and attention over the past 4 years, and making Maritas last years comfortable and happy.
Marita was a lifelong and devout supporter of Geelong Football Club - Go Cats...
