BONOGUORE, Michael John

Mike is off on his last big adventure. A long-time local and proud Stanthorpe Lion, Mike did many jobs, called many towns “home,” and was never happier than when he crossed to the “right” side of the Great Divide. A bushie at heart, he travelled almost every road in eastern Australia (and a good number in Canada, too). He is survived by wife Joy, son Nick, daughters Suzanne and Tenille, 11 grandchildren, and the best sons-in-law a bloke could ask for. Predeceased by Helen and Danny.

Mike drank his best wine on April 14 and passed away with family on April 15. He was 71. A memorial will be held at the Stanthorpe Wine Pavilion, details to come. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bush Heritage Australia are deeply appreciated.
