BOWDEN, Michael
Children's Ground extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Michael Bowden.
Mike was highly respected throughout the Central Australian Aboriginal Community and dedicated his life to learning, supporting and teaching others.
Mike and Judy opened their homes and their hearts to others. He mentored and inspired all of us. He looked after everybody and was like a grandfather for many of our children. He respected our culture and always encouraged us as educators of language and culture. He dedicated himself to engaging our kids in school and encouraged learning that was culturally inclusive.
We all appreciate the dedicated work he did with our people, he will be sadly missed. With much love to Judy, and our Bowden brothers and sister.
