It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bill Brebner, a devoted husband, wonderful father, and cherished grandfather. Bill lost his battle with aggressive cancer on Wednesday 3 July, leaving a void that words cannot fill.
Bill was not only a beloved family man but also a dedicated Director and Chairman at Buckley's, a past president and life member of the South Barwon Football and Netball Club, and an active member within the Geelong football and cricket community. His impact and contributions extended far beyond these roles, touching the lives of many.
We express our deepest gratitude to the exceptional staff at Epworth Hospital, particularly Dr Anna Lomax, Dr Kate Dunn and Dr Alex Dunn, whose care and compassion provided comfort during his final days. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the nurses whose kindness will not be forgotten.
Bill, you were loved beyond measure, and your absence will be keenly felt by your wife Rhonda, children Julie (& Philip), Suz (& Toby), and your beautiful grandchildren Olivia, Imogen, Eli, Nathaniel and Thea. Also mourning his loss is his younger brother Neil.
