It is with great sadness that the family of Eleanora (Ella) Buchanan annouces her passing on Sunday, 9th June, 2019, at the age of 86 years. Ella will be lovingly remembered by her nephew Mark, her brother John, sister in law Alba and their children Roberto (Nancy) and Marisa; her brother Helmut, and children, Steven, Tommy and Andrew. Also lovingly remembered by Doreen, Carl (Narelle), Michael (Tany), and Diane (David). Ella was a well-known figure in Cairns, North Queensland where she lived after arriving in Australia in 1951, at 18 years of age. She met and married the love of her life, Donald Buchanan (deceased), and there they created a wonderful life filled with loving family and friends. Many years after Don's passing in 1981, she met Eric who became her companion for the last 25 years. Ella is predeceased by her parents, Mladen and Agnes, Frankie, her brother Joe (Valerie) and their son Ashley, sister in law Carol, cousin Robert, and nephew Varis. Reunited in Heaven. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
