Late of Wonglepong, Gold Coast, formerly of Townsville and Mt Isa, born in the United States of America, passed away after a long illness on November 19th, 2023, aged 82 years.


Beloved husband of Ann, and much loved father of Jill and Jennifer, and stepfather to Mark and Leah, and their families.


Jim will be long remembered for his service to the education of young Australians and his life membership of the Australian Labor Party. He will be sadly missed by his family, many friends, former students and colleagues.


Privately cremated on the Gold Coast.
