A much-loved member of the Burla and Tento families.
Formerly of Northbridge, Ettalong, Hurstville, Cremorne, Canberra, Brisbane and Ingham, North Queensland.
Younger son of Dario & Caterina Burla (nee Tento), brother of Robert Burla (all dec)
Long time friend of George Williams (dec)
Peter died peacefully and privately. A gentle, quiet man who loved good food, reading, music and being in the company of family and friends.
An ex-student of Marist College Ashgrove, Brisbane (1947), and a graduate of University of Queensland, with a Bachelor of Economics in 1956, Peter’s career was totally dedicated to the Australian Customs Service, based in Canberra and Sydney.
In accordance with Peter’s wishes there will be no funeral. His ashes will be interred in the Rose Garden at Palmdale Memorial Garden, Palmdale, NSW.
