Sadly ending a 16-year health battle, his family announce the passing of Maurie, 76, at the Gibson Unit of St John's Hospital, Hobart.
Deeply loved husband of Glynis for 48 years. Dearly loved father of Richard (dec), Dion, Rodney, Keith and Bronwyn.
Loving father-in-law of Leesa & Deb, grandfather of Ashley, Jay, Tylah and adored Pop of Hudson. Youngest son of the late Arch & Eileen Burles and loved brother of Peter (dec) and Tony.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors caring for Maurie over this time at the ICON Centre, the Gibson Unit and the RHH.
