CAIRNS, Evelyn Anne (Sunderland)

Passed away peacefully on 31st October 2023, aged 89 years.

Much loved wife of Gerald, mother of Neil, Jenny, Rodney, and Alison, mother-in-law of Mike, and grandmother of her twelve grandchildren.

Beloved daughter of Harry and Ethel, loving sister and sister-in-law of Arthur and Winsome, Ron and Noel, Mervyn and Margaret, Ray and Olive, friend of Judy and Elizabeth, much loved aunt of her many nieces and nephews.

My adored and wonderful wife Evelyn, a devoted mother, friendly to all, faithful in her service to her Lord and the pledge we made so long ago. She has enriched my life and given me great happiness. I hope the wait is not too long until we are reunited.
