Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family

on November 20, 2022.

Aged 95 years.

Joe,

we were together for 68 years and had a wonderful marriage for 65 of those years, in that time we raised 5 beautiful children together, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. You worked hard to look after us and to make sure we always had everything we needed. Your antics and sense of humour made us always smile and laugh. Your handsome face will always be imprinted in my mind and your kindness and love will always be in my heart. You will be with me forever; in you I found the love of my life and the closest and truest friend. Until we meet again, I will think of you always,

I will talk of you forever and you will never be forgotten.

Dear Dad “Trouble”,

Everything we want to say to you we had already said and you had said to us. Our lives are not going to be the same without you and we will miss your handsome face, your wise words and your cheeky nature. Those strong hands that worked so hard all your life were somehow still so soft and we know that they will be guiding and protecting your family forever.

Dear dad –

lately I’ve been thinking of things you used to say and do, the older I get the more I can see how much you loved my mother, my siblings and me. There were times I thought you were being hard on me, but now I understand that you were making me. You will forever be in my eyes, my heart, my soul, my hands, my pride and when I feel alone. I thank you and you will live in my heart forever.

P.S. You forgot to teach me how to live without you.

“The Boss”, you taught me everything I needed to know to become my own man, your strength was inspirational to the end. for all your hard work with Mum to give us the best in life possible, and that we never wanted for anything. I will miss walking with you in your garden, showing me and tasting all the fruits of your passionate labour. I cherish the memories of listening to the many stories about your life growing up with family and friends that you shared your life with. Learning from your life experiences, which I am now passing onto my son Joey. You always said “Be strong, always be happy in life, show respect to those around you and stay true to your beliefs. Live life simply and all will be ok.” Your words have made me the person that I have become today. You were always happiest sitting at the table surrounded by all the family, eating dinner, playing cards or just simply talking about our lives. Dad, it is now time for you to rest and simply enjoy some sweet wine, play cards in the sun and dance many

Tarantellas as you did in life.

no words can articulate the love and admiration I have for you.

You have been an inspiration to me and everybody around you and I cherish all of the moments we have spent together.
