CHAIL, Shawnjit Singh

Shawnjit Singh Chail (Shawn to all) passed away on 26 May 2024. Deeply cherished one and only son to Kamaljit Chail, his mother, and late father (2012) Capt. Balbir Singh Chail. As the only child, he was also loved by all his cousins, aunts, uncles and

a myriad of close friends.

An academic at heart starting his journey at Melbourne Grammar, completing medicine and Philosophy at UNSW, he was currently reading in econometrics and mathematics as Dalyell scholar at Sydney University.

As always, Shawnjit was pleased to take up an argument on any topic.

Shawn leaves us with sadness and empty hearts with very big shoes to fill.
