The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
CHESTER, Leila Kathleen (nee Guy)
My Mum, your worst fears are now allayed.
You are where your heart has been for so many years. I am left here unsure how to carry the mantle. For so long it has just been us; our little family, strong, secure, connected. As Roscoe, Charli and I move forward without you, we will keep you with us. It is still the same, it just looks a little different. My heart is broken. Michelle, Roscoe and Aleasha, and Charlotte.
