You have been there for all of us forever, and even though you’ve taken your journey to heaven, you will continue to be - as we will always carry you, your teachings, your love and yes, your smile within us.

A smile that would lift our hearts whenever you flashed it.

The fierce dedication to your family and friends, respect, honour, strength and selflessness will continue to inspire us to be the best we can be.

So whether you are tending to your vegetables, filling heaven with the aroma’s of your amazing cooking, sitting by the forno with your dearest of friends making biscuits or bread, sneaking in that extra piece of chocolate or cake or sipping on some home made wine next to Papa - please watch over us and know, that you will forever and always be a part of us.

Your pain is no more. You gave us more than you could give, and to an extent, more than you realised.

Your work, which was never done, is now complete.
