What started out as a friendship almost 40 years ago became an indelible addition to our family.

I do not actually know how I will go on without you. We were, not only the very best of friends,

but you were my other sister.

We were there for every high, and every low,

and you had an innate ability to make people feel genuine love instantly.

You had hands of gold with all you touched,

lips of gold with how you spoke,

and a heart of gold with how you loved.

We were each other’s shadow and

did everything together, but,

we had so many things to do still.

Selfless to the very end,

rest in peace now my darling

and fly into the arms of your beautiful mum.

I will miss everything about you and carry many regrets as you were taken far too soon.

It was my absolute privilege to have walked this journey with you.
