CLINTON, Emery

Passed away on 10 May 2021.

Aged 43 years.

Stranded overseas because of COVID lockdowns, flight restrictions, in a country lacking in hospital facilities, battling illness (not COVID) for 18 months, he was denied the opportunity to receive medical treatment that he, as an Australian citizen, would have received if he had been able to come home.

A Father, son, husband, brother, uncle and friend.

A life sacrificed for many.

A mighty warrior, blessed with many arrows in his quiver, has passed to be with his Lord and Saviour.

His many sons and daughters left fatherless, may they find strength to continue his visions and dreams.

A man who is truly missed, may you rest in peace.

By the grace of God we will meet again one day.

Thank you to the Australian Consular staff working against all odds to bring 30,000 Australians stranded overseas home during this COVID pandemic.

They were about to bring Emery home, but alas it was too late.
