In her 100th year

Two tired eyes are sleeping

Two willing hands are still

The one who worked so hard for us

is resting at God’s will

Always loving, always true.

She never deserved what she went through

if she could have spoken before she died,

these are the words she would have replied

This life for me has truly passed

I loved you all until the last.

Weep, not for me and courage, take

and love each other for my sake

As life goes on and you all get older,

my hand still rests upon your shoulder.

So don’t be sad or weep for me

In God’s keeping, united with Dad and past Family members.
